  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • To achieve targets in line with the agreed business strategy.
    • Develop and implement business plans and forecasts for Customers. Assist in effective forecasting of sales volumes on a monthly and budgetary cycle.
    • To grow business volume through prompt responses to RFQs meeting profitability targets
    • Respond to, maintain and track customer purchase orders.
    • Identify, initiate or assist in obtaining new business opportunities.
    • Respond to a range of customer enquiries (examples: capacity verifications, RFQs, customer order status, cost walks, program timing), ascertaining customer needs and resolving issues as appropriate in line with NHK strategies.
    • Develop, maintain and enhance solid business relationships with customers (and suppliers) to generate growth and maximize business opportunities; including the promotion of value added products and services appropriate to the customer.
    • Ensure all documentation is prepared/completed in accordance with relevant internal/external requirements and strategies.
    • Communicate and work with other NHK businesses to develop mutually beneficial opportunities and maximize group potential.
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with NHK plants, R&D team, other departments and affiliate companies based on the principles of total account management through good communication and coordination.
    • Address business issues affecting the performance of the relationship / portfolio with appropriate stakeholders.
    • Ensure high level of 5S.
    • Other duties may be required or assigned as determined by management.  
    • To make and submit the meeting minutes within 2 working days after the meeting with customer.

  3. Education and/or Experience

    • Four Year Degree Required
    • Experience with OEMs including an understanding of supplier relationships
    • Sales Excellence - must have proven abilities in sales from opening business opportunities to closing major deals needing significant perseverance and creativity; with a proven Sales Track record
    • Ability to negotiate with customer
    • Self disciplined, organized and motivated
    • A Passion for Commerce and Business Numbers - must have the commercial, numerical and finance skills to unlock the key business issues of the customer and to find opportunities to improve the customer's commercial position through the intervention of our products
    • Sector Knowledge - needs to be able to demonstrate insight into the business and competitive issues of his customers. Should be able to demonstrate the edge through an ability to interpret and analyze customer business information including financial statements, forecasts, business plans, and strategies
