For our client, a Japanese automotive Supplier company in Wolfsburg, Germany, 

we are looking for a Sales person ,who is responsible for managing and developing current customer accounts while growing new business opportunities.

 

1) Responsibility

  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with an assigned group of existing customer account(s)
  • Conduct meetings face to face or online with customers as required
  • Serve as the point of contact between the company and assigned customers. Respond to a range of customer inquiries (e.g., RFQs, surveys, order status)
  • Promptly prepare sales quotes that incorporate the cost of the product and the desired profit margin
  • Accurately input all customer orders. Maintain the price tracking system and monitor prices for booked business. Maintain good communication with Accounting Team and support and follow-up past due payments
  • Ensureall sales documentation is accurate and complete in compliance witht he company  policy and external requirements
  • Determine the effect of engineering changes to price
  • Create and monitor schedules to meet customer needs. Communicate customer requests/requirements to others, including production, quality, manufacturing etc
  • Effectively resolve company and customer issues in a manner that serves the needs of both the company and the customer
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the plants, engineering, other the company departments and affiliate companies
  • Maintain accurate monthly sales forecasts for each customer and part number
  • Support budget preparation and creation

 

2) Demonstrated Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Good communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Good cost awareness throughout the complete work tasks

 

3) Acquired Knowledge:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field of study
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience working with a Tier I and/or Tier II Automotive Supplier or equivalent sales experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Business level of English and German is mandatory
  • Basic level of Japanese preferred, but not mandatory
